Weir trees are rare trees found in the High Forest. The wood is not naturally flammable, making it excellent for construction purposes. It is also often used for making musical instruments.
The most remarkable feature of the weir tree is its leaves: they are brown on the top and black on the bottom. Weir trees can grow to be huge in its later years. They are a very rare variety and are usually protected by laws, rangers and druids.
