You open a momentary gate to the Shadow and

negative energy planes, bringing forth a billowing sphere of darkness at the desired point in

range. This darkness is also extremely cold and

drains some of the life of anyone caught inside it.

The burst created by this spell obstructs the line of sight and cannot be seen through, even with darkvision. Anyone who succeeds at a Reflex save

only suffers half of the effects below and is immediately moved to the nearest edge of the darkness


Those caught in the spell’s effect suffers 2d6 hit

points of cold damage and 1 point (none on a

successful Reflex save) of temporary Constitution
